SAD NEWS

It is with great sadness that I have to report on the death of Agnes Balmer (Aggy), wife of Andy Balmer the manager of Social Blues. Aggy attended nearly all of the Social's home matches and many of the away games, and came to be known as the team mascot. Although she had not been too well for some time, she always had a smile for the players and enjoyed every game. Aggy will be sadly missed and Friday night's will never be the same. I'm sure everybody would like to pass on their thoughts to Andy, Willie, Martin and Sammy, all members of the Social team and to all the family circle at this most sorrowful of times. Aggy passed away on the morning of Friday 3rd October. Funeral arrangements have been made for Monday 6th October at 12.30 from Stevenson's Funeral Parlour

Steve Hamer (for Social Blues)
